Objective of the Project is to contribute to better understanding of the processes of redefinition of nation's identity. That in consequences would allow not only better conditions for handling of the minority and migrant issues, but also increased mutual understanding between nations in Central Europe.
At the pracitcal level, the project aims to establish a permanent network of experts in the field of identity and ethnic self-perception. Ideally, such a network should operate in long-term perspective and this project is just a beginning of the whole series of activities for the future. For this purpose, permanent conference of experts will be established and within the proposed project, review of articles from the conference will be published.
